Daddy is hilarious

I guess Adam's baby-talk voice is pretty funny. You never know what's going to make this kid laugh.

Happy Birthday, Ashlie!

Today is friend and fellow blogger Ashlie's birthday.
She has an adorable little family and is a wonderful and genuine person.
Check out her cute blog at www.littledaltonfamily.blogspot.com

Sadly, I have no digital pictures of Ashlie, so I ganked one off her blog.
Hope you have a great day, Ash!

StumbleUpon Finds

Edit: I'm not sure what's going on with my formatting here, can't seem to get rid of the wonky stuff. sorry about that.

StumbleUpon has got to be the greatest Firefox add-on ever.

Some great sites that I found this week:

Smitten Kitchen : A food blog with some yummy looking recipes that I can't wait to try. Specifically the tarts and cookies. *drool* It is very, very bad that I found this now, when I'm trying to lose weight.

Jacksonpollock.org : A fun little site where you can pretend that you are an artistic genius who can splash and dribble paint on a canvas and then sell it for millions of dollars...

little window shoppe: A blog with crafts, recipes, giveaways, and gift ideas. There's some fun stuff on here.

Cake Wrecks : When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong. I must have spent over an hour looking through this blog. It is absolutely hysterical. The cakes are funny enough, but the commentary is priceless. The Darth Vader baby shower cake is the greatest thing I have ever seen.

I'm sure there will be more things to share soon. I'm loving this add-on!

Feeling lucky...

... that my husband still has a job. There was another round of surprise layoffs at his job today, his team has now been shaved down from 9 people to 3. I was afraid that something like this was coming, because so many of the companies that Reid-Ashman sells machines to have been laying off employees. There is a new one on the news every day.

My heart goes out to all of the people who are jobless today. I can't even imagine the stress of trying to find a job during this economic disaster. I am feeling very blessed right now, and hoping that our luck holds out.
